About Kundalini & The Subtle System
Sahaja Yoga explains that the Kundalini is a living energy residing at the base of the spine. When awakened, it rises through the central channel (Sushumna Nadi) and nourishes the seven chakras, bringing inner balance, mental silence and spiritual growth.
The Central Channel (Sushumna Nadi)
This main energy channel carries the Kundalini upward to the Sahasrara Chakra. When it clears, meditation becomes effortless and peaceful.
Kundalini Awakening
Kundalini rises spontaneously in Sahaja Yoga, giving the experience of cool vibrations in the palms and on top of the head — a sign of genuine spiritual awakening.
The Chakras
The seven chakras govern various physical, emotional, and spiritual qualities. Sahaja Yoga strengthens and purifies them through meditation.
